Our Environmental Policy

Our Environmental Policy

We recognise that our operations have an effect on the local, regional and global environment and are committed to reducing this impact whereever possible. Our Environmental Policy is outlined at the end of this page but directly below we have summarised some of our ongoing areas of development.

2008: SWITCHED SUPPLY FROM ASIA TO EUROPE: This was a critical part of the ongoing environmental strategy. We will continue to look at ways that we can reduce the impact of our supply chain.

2008: REDUCTION OF WASTE THROUGH TECHNOLOGY: The introduction of lazer cutting meant that the cloth could be cut far more effeciently reducing waist and the amount of fabric used (and therefore energy)

2008: INTRODUCED ROUTE PLANNING STRATEGY. This project reduced the number of miles travelled by our tailors by approx. 50%.

2009: REDUCED SHIRT PACKAGING. Our shirts used to include a presentation box and a transport box. Following consultation with our clients we have now stopped using the presentation box (unless requested specifically by our clients). This has effectively halved our packaging.

2010: BIO-DEGRADABLE SUIT CARRIERS: We have just replaced our pastic carriers with black bio-degradable carriers. These carriers are also stronger and more durable.
