Joe Meyers, International Show Jumper - New Zealand
Joe Meyer is currently among the top International Event riders based in the UK. Born and bread in the New Zealand province of Wairarapa, he started his competition career already as a 6 year old.
Having achieved considerable success on National level, achieving captain status of the New Zealand Junior Event Team, Joe decided to bring his then top horse Southern Star to Europe in 1996 The move brought him closer to prestigious events such as Badminton, Burghly, Boekelo (PL) and Pau (Fr).

|  | BBC Reportor Simon Reeve put M&BT shirts to the test during his documentaries The Equator and Capricorn
The author and award-winning broadcaster Simon Reeve recently wore several identical M&BT shirts while travelling around the middle of the planet for the acclaimed BBC television series ‘Equator’.
I bought a few lightweight linen shirts from David at M&BT and sent my details via the internet, said Simon. I was frantically preparing for my equator travels and was a bit worried the shirts wouldn’t arrive in time, or wouldn’t fit. But they arrived very quickly and fitted perfectly. They travelled with me for several months through the hottest, sweatiest region of the planet, and stood-up really well to the rigours of travelling around the equator. I wore them under heavy flak jackets, in torrential rains, under the scorching sun, and in the darkness of rainforests. A young orangutan I was carrying even tried to pull one shirt apart, but they all survived and are ready for my next adventure.
